NWN2, KOTOR2, Fallout:NV. All obsidian, all significant steps downward from the quality of game they were the sequels to. They make decent games, not amazing blockbusters. But because they make those decent games riding on the names of some incredible games, the judgement is a lot more critical, and they keep coming up short of the greatness expected of the series they take up.

TOR is my third game I'm planning on making a long-term commitment to. EVE was my first, back in late 2004, and I spent 2 years with that, followed by 4 with WoW, and TOR is the third that has hooked me. I still go back to EVE from time to time as well, though. There's something wonderful about that game that just satisfies me.

I dissapprove of this post. How are people supposed to exploit the gullibility of the masses if you're going to go all educatey on them?

So.... ONE of those games is an MMO, but MMOs are the ones linked to problem gaming? And can you really count online poker games without a lot more study? You've got the issue of gambling addiction there as a potential problem factor as well.
