Pledged $110 ($10 for shipping). It just seems worth it. You get the game in a special old school editon box, Blu-ray of the documentary, poster, name in credits, backer t-shirt, PDF of the book, digital game soundtrack, HD download of the documentary and access to the beta. The games credits are probably going to be the longest in any game. Right now, there are 10,028 people who have pledged $100 which gets you a special thanks.
WP7 games have 200 cheevos and some of those games require no effort to get and considering how XBLA titles are becoming more and more expansive and involved, it only makes sense for them to allow for more points.
@NathanDTS I felt the last one had pretty interesting gameplay. I did enjoy sliding around into cover and popping out around corners. I felt I was doing a variety of things from your standard running and gunning to driving vehicles to stealth and flying a helicopter but the game was over so quickly. I completed it within 3 hours but that last mission was pretty intense and I loved using that big, hulking sniper rifle.
To me, Fable has always been a mixed bag. I really enjoyed my time with Fable 2 but at the same time I could write a list longer than my arm what's wrong with it. I guess the big part is seeing their cool concepts and what they say what the game is going to be but come release day, most of that stuff is stripped out. The original combat in 2 was meant to be much more dynamic as you slip down rails or jumped on lights and when your character was pregnant you had to be think about how this would affect your journey and what you did but in the final game all you got was fade to black and bam - baby.
I only played the new one recently on PC after picking it up really cheap on Steam. I actually quite enjoyed the campaign but it was so short. My overall time was only just over 3 hours and I didn't really care to touch the multiplayer. The single player had some neat little touches like sliding (more games need sliding) and the learning from cover. I thought it had a good mix up of missions too. I enjoyed it for the price I payed but for $60 brand new, I would've been pissed.
@katssun When they said about the 17 year difference, Talim came to mind as someone who'd best benefit as she'd look noticeably different. She's also my fave character as I really like her fighting style.
Damn, there's a lot of hate for Brental Floss here. I saw him at London Gaming Con and he was awesome and I only really know his Mega Man stuff pretty much but I know he's a friend of the site.
The game needs to just die. It's been in development hell for too many years. I was in the original beta from October 2009 to June 2010 and I can't believe that in 2 years since then, there still haven't been any new maps. Before the beta, RTWs said they were going to keep updating the game and keep adding new modes but from what I've read here, it's still the same game from then. I checked the game out earlier this year to see if it had improved but to me it didn't feel like a significant change.
APB always seems to have been a game with so much potential but ultimately wasted. The customisation is still really amazing but the rest of the game is less so.
I'd imagine the side panel is used for Photoshop as professional photoshop users tend to use 2 displays keeping their main display free from any tools so all they see is the imagine and the 2nd display has all the tools they'd need.
