Meh, I consider myself Christian, but I wasnt really offended by the ending of the show. I thought it was hilarious and unexpected. It's a parody and its meant to be funny so what the hell. But I can see how it could offend people.
Actually this is a good representation of what i think most cars in 50ish years will be like. Lightweight, electric, and driven by in wheel motors. Good job to the designer
God this looks awful. Ill give it a chance, but I seriously dont expect it to be any good. Why cant they bring the UK Top Gear to US primetime? (thats a serious question btw, does anyone know the answer?)
Alright. One reason is because safety belts wouldn't make much of a difference in a crash that would statistically be the most likely to happen involving a school bus. (ie usually under 50 mph, not head on, etc.) But the main reason (or so Im told is the main reason) is that the seats are designed to act like safety belts during a crash. Imagine eggs in a egg carton. Its pretty much the same concept. Also you have to remember that school buses have much more mass when moving than the cars on the road. A egg carton system protects passengers just as well as safety belts in most crashes with that kind of mass.
Nevertheless, what happened in Missouri is absolutely horrible. It was a terrible freak accident. But you have to remember that it was a freak accident. Things like this dont happen every day. I dont know how much safety belts would have made a difference. Anyway, I hope such never happens again and I pray for the families affected by the accident. It really is horrible.
Well, all this is great. But remember that its not about the camera you have, its about the pictures you take. If you buy the really expensive dslr but dont know how to take a decent picture, you just wasted a metric shit ton of money. Another example would be to buy the dslr and then use it to take half assed, crappy pictures to put as your facebook picture and nothing else.
Ultimately, buy within your limits. More money wont get you better pictures, it will get you a better camera. The pictures are up to you.
Well, yes, but that also makes this site a bit boring. I dont know. Gizmodo is just more fun to read. Giz has personality. The personality can be annoying and tasteless at times, but at other times their snark can be brilliant and hilarious -that's the fun of it. (Though I really got tired of the iphone drama after a while.)
This blog was fun for a while... but ever since the site redesign Engadget has just not been showing the personality that they used to. I go here first for news, but I would stay longer and participate more if Engadget got back on their game.
But i dont know, ive been having a bad day so I might just be cranky...
