You are right samfish..everything they make is garbage..in your opinion. What I was refering to mostly is the consoles they produce. Did you forget about the orignal playstation that completly changed what console gaming was? It had a 11 year life cycle! I still play Final Fantasy VII (one of the best games ever made IMO). PS2 is even still kicking after 8 years. The fact of the matter still stands..Sony makes quality products that stand the test of time like it or not.

I also forgot to add Sixaxis as a nice "feature" PS3 has going for it..if implemented correctly like it was in games such as High Velocity Bowling, Flow and Warhawk it rivals that of wii's motion sensing ability. True.. right now it's mostly just an afterthought for most developers but there is lots of potential for improvement as long as it doesent become "gimmicky".

All I know is that Sony is a reputible company that has been producing quality hardware for decades. They know what they are doing. Sure they have had some problems and made some mistakes along the way but honestly who hasent?
The way I look at this gen console war between $soft and Sony is like PC vs MAC. It all comes down to personal prefrence and the like.

The ps3 has some catching up to do there is no denying that but at the same time you cant deny everything it has going for it. ie..Free internet, psp-ps3 conectivity, blue ray, Home (say wahat you will about it being lame and whatnot..it just came out of beta and is still in its infant stage)and some really sick exclusives (Quantim Theory, Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy Versus, God of War 3 and many others). Stop with all the hate and just enjoy what you have.

Sony spent a year longer developing their console instead of rushing it out and dealing with problems such as the RROD. So who is more inclined to bring out the most innovative and satisfying software/products to the market? The company who is "comfortably" sitting in second place buying out all the exclusives? Or the company that has to prove that they are a force to be reckonded with even a year later out the gate.

Good things come to those who wait..and Ill be sitting back in 09 waiting for all the goodness to arrive.
