A problem I feel with end of the year awards is that people always forget the early releases, now while these awards are often meaningless it is always an end of the year game, or christmas release that wins.

That being said, I have yet to play Gears of War 2, Fallout 3, Mirror's Edge, Fable 2, or Left 4 Dead, so maybe the opinions are accurate to mine.

Couple of thoughts, to the first email...

There should be an option for when you start the xbox, it loads the game right away. Not the perfect fix for the pause and eat, but a small solution none the less.

And for the English/trash talk email...

I am a cross between hardcore/casual gamer, and I know some of my friends that aren't so into video games are attracted to the Call of Dutys and Halos. And additionally with FPS being more mainstream and causal have the tendency to attract bullies and the like. Plus, the anonymity of the internet gives false confidence (something that should really be solved to an extent). I apologize for my fellow American gamers.

I have other theories but lets be honest, I sucked in my Psych 101 class.
