My Area 51 Athlon 1.4 GHz that I bought in 2000 is sitting in my closet running ubuntu, and making all my Hulu-on-PS3 dreams come true. No latency issues there.

Engadget's Netflix HD streaming shootout

I got my parents the LG BD300 for Christmas, and I had it all set up and going while everyone was still opening presents. No problems connecting to the network, not a single tweak necessary. And I've also always had luck at my house with the XBox and HD content.... not that there is a tremendous amount of it, but I don't consider popping in my 30 Rock or The Office DVDs anymore when I have instant access to HD streams of them.

I've got the older model of one of these sitting right next to me right now, as well as the 27" in the office. Actually, all the monitors here are Panny professional line. They're pretty indispensable to pro editors.

I mean, yeah, I guess. It's sorta on my way home from work. Why is it at an office, and not at a bar/restaurant-ish thinggy with happy hour offerings?
