Feb 19th 2009 11:31AM (Joystiq)Because on-rails shooters live by repetition of stages. You cant build up tension in a stage you played more than 10 times for the best score.
Because they´re a simpler type of game. You cant control movement, you cant dodge, you cant take your time to figure something. (and i bet all this stuff from EA press release about dead space will feel tacked on in the final game)
Long story short, they´re nice, but we need something with more complexity right now. We re tired of light gun games.
