No Surprises. The oh so tired wanna-be N64 controller has been over engineered into a ditch. Kind of emblematic for all of Sony's strategies.

Um they've run both those photos before. As one is a photochop and the other a concept shot of the evo x from last year.

Anyways a civic/3 sized evo sounds just about right for me. Throw in DSG and its a party! Unless of course subie does the same thing. Then I'd be torn.

Agreed on PDZ and Altered Beast not belonging anywhere near that list. Please substitute in any/all of the PS2 launch lineup, except SSX and DEFINITELY Kessen!

But hey why doesn't DCX have a jeep that looks this cool in production? Sure they have come out with all sorts of awesome concept cars of this ilk. But everything in the lineup is ho-hum or downright "they didn't really try" ugly. Take a nod from power wheels and build a wrangler variant that actually looks like this!

SO what sucks worse for the sony fans? The fact that the best game(oblivion ,natch!) of the 'launch window' Is a port. Or is it that its going to be delayed?

I think its a "good" ugly. Id love to see something like this on the road! Beats the hell out of the jellybean styling of the past 15 years.

How are ANY of those games killer apps? MGS:4 is good one to two years out. Did you play snake eater? It didnt exactly tear up the charts. And nobody would be surprised to see the big budget mgs show up on the 360. Gran turismo HD (i used to LOVE the series) comes with no cars(hahahah Sony hates us all) GT5 is easily 2 or 3 years out. Resistance, super swell it looks pretty(!), unfortunately its(iirc) from the Tony Hawk(read:mediocre) guys and also Lost Planet looks to easily be the third person shooter of choice without trying to be a poor mans gears of war.

I can understand that your psyched and at 500 bones you sure as hell better be. But I'm still waiting for a REAL killer app and a REAL console price. Best of luck to you!

I was just kidding about boyd being dead. But hell this car must be a kick in the groin for him, it looks as good if not better than most of the boydsters and its A KIT! How cool is that!

Whatever flap it was that cause chip foose to stop working for boyd is unknown to me. But I know it was bitter. This car must be some ultimate salt in the wound.
