This game went from a "no thanks!" to a "yes, please!" with two little words . . . frisbee golf!

Where do I sign?

It makes that frisbee dog thing in "Wii Sports Resort" look like a pile of poop (but not dog poop).

I guess I'm the only one looking forward to frisbee doggin'.

But what I want to know is: what are the other games in WSR? Aren't there supposed to be like 7, or maybe even 10, different games? And we're (supposedly) a mere 2 months away from this game's release (in Japan, anyway), and we've only seen screenshots of 3 of them?!?

Could they just stick with these three and "budget" price the game?

So when asked about it, the guy from Nintendo starts talking about the weather?

translation: no way in hell this is out in the spring, unfortunately.

It's hard to be too upset about it, though, with the new Boom Blox on the way in May!

Now can we please have an adapter that will allow us to use our old N64 controllers on virtual console N64 games?

I'm sure Wii Sports Resort will be delayed. We should've seen this coming, as Nintendo has only posted screenshots of 3 (of the supposedly 10?!?) of the games in it: sword fightin', wave-runnin', and frisbee-doggin'.

Heck, we don't even know the NAMES of the other games in WSR, do we?

Not a good sign.

My guess: it'll be the big Christmas release, unfortunately.

Nevermind this . . . I want to know the rest of the Wii Sports Resort line-up! Y'know, the ones that aren't "jet ski", "swords", and "frisbee dog".

I, too, purchased the Wii in November of '08. I also purchased a DS 'round that time.

I'm averaging an hour per day on the DS (1/2 hour on the bus each way to/from work), and anywhere from 1-3 hours per day on the Wii.

And this week, it's been about 3-4 hours per day.

But let me 'splain . . .

I just bought two mucho excellantay games for the Wii: WSC Real 08 (World Snooker Championship) arrived in the mail on tuesday, and then Boom Blox arrived yesterday.

It's safe to say that those 3-4 hours per day could balloon into 5-6 in the VERY near future.

And if you don't have it yet, do yourself a favor and get Boom Blox. Everybody goes on about World of Goo, and from what I've played of it (just the downloadable-for-PC first level) I've definitely enjoyed it, but I'm diggin' on Boom Blox WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY more than I enjoyed the first level of WoG.

So I'll say it . . . Boom Blox is my favorite game of 2008, and as much praise as it's been given, I still think it's underrated.
