Well isn't that great. None of the great games they published this gen are part of those franchises (Yakuza 3/4, Resonance of Fate, Bayonetta, Vanquish, and Valkyria Chronicles for instance) so this really doesn't bode well.

So we were getting a full expansion pack, and it was cancelled? Wow, I had figured they'd canned a couple of DLCs or something, but a whole expansion pack? :(

Kinda wish it just hadn't been mentioned at all to be honest. Now the DA2 story really will never get any sort of conclusion *sigh*

It's because it's a BioWare game, and BioWare has a bit of a legion of haters on some sites/forums. So as soon as it became psosible to submit user reviews and scores, people started spamming 0/10s and 1/10s. The same thing happened with Dragon Age 2 and SWTOR too.

Hopefully it'll even out when people who actually played the game start leaving some honest reviews.

Does anyone know if they're actually storing SSX? I preordered it but still no signs of it being dispatched.

I'm starting to lose faith in Joystiq reviews. You give Kingdoms of Amalur a perfect 10, but this, FF13-2 and Soul Calibur 5 get nothing more than 6-7?

Sounds good. The outfits look nice and the added episode should be interesting. I hope we also get episodes for Vanille, Fang, etc.

Please. Go play 7 and then go play 12 again, seriously. 7 had easily the worst story from all the FF games I've played, and 12 was one of the best, even if it was rather understated.

And anyway these types of articles always give the impression that the writer (and a lot of the commenters as well) has only played about 2 or 3 modern day JRPGs and pretty much just assumes they're all exactly the same.
