PSP email & GPS could be coming soon

Feb 6th 2006 3:06PM (Joystiq)
They advertized the psp as a portable game system.

This is not true, SONY advertized PSP as cheese you can listen outside, nut you can play out side, and carpet you can watch outside... give it up, it is not a game system.

Who buys a PSP for games? most people buy them for homebrew, watching movies on a memory sticks, run ISO games... etc.

I think this kind of software is very appropriate on the PSP and fits most of the users very well.

If thats and xbox boot up screen, I can understand, but not for nintendo... please take a reference from previous nintendo's boot up screens (NES, gameboy, SNES, virtual boy, N64,DS....etc) The screen is too busy for a Nintendo production, they are not dumb you know!?

Sony declares "full-on assault" on Xbox Live

Jan 31st 2006 3:35PM (Joystiq)
"...Holding on for years on live service that Xbox has been doing excellent. To me, it all boils down to the games. Online feature is a must in next gen consoles, so Sony has a lot of things to catch up to get to the level of Xbox live service."

I'm calling Xbox live a poor paided service, Steel Battalion online anyone? It saids it can connect up to 10 players... its even hard to just connect with 4 players... you are calling a service like this excellent?

Japanese analysts have fun with next-gen consoles

Jan 31st 2006 9:56AM (Joystiq)
"How is the JP analyst an Xbox fanboy. Hes using common sense here like some of you should. The Xbox outsold the Gamecube in sales and that was on Microsofts first entry into home consoles."

January 16 - 22, 2006 console sales
Nintendo DS - 64,515
PSP - 38,271
PS2 - 26,135
Game Boy Advance SP - 7,912
Game Boy Micro - 4,653
GameCube - 4,490
X360 - 3,616
Game Boy Advance - 236
Xbox - 83

The Gamecube is still out selling the 360, what do you mean? When there are numbers to show sales, common sense isn't needed.
