The Daily Grind: What's the most iconic MMO city?

Oct 31st 2011 5:52PM (Massively)
My vote also goes to Kelethin. So expansive yet so dangerous. (Shout out to Kaladim and Felwithe though, Felwithe was the first castle-city I think I experienced though). After that though, it has to be Stormwind, pre-cata.

The best JRPG you haven't played yet

@pluupy And used to have some sort of qualitative adjective about the "hardness" or something.

I'm still stumped.

The Guild Counsel: Guild horror stories

Oct 27th 2011 7:51PM (Massively)
First off, that Tunare story brought up some bad memories for me. Except my memories of that game are filled with clearing zones, and then (on VZek, pre-merge) getting a single rival guild member show up/find us, and then call his entire guild to come wipe us out and corpse camp us for hours, as they prepped for the kill. Sharing raid zones was tough back in the day, and always pretty scary.

@arkweld It should also be mentioned that she continues to act/support sci-fi shows and other "nerd" events. Essentially she is a female Wil Wheaton.

Amen. Hell, if some real screens and gameplay are convincing enough, I'd definitely give it a shot. Don't mean to bag on others, but EQ Pre-Luclin and Post-Luclin are wayyyyy different. Now if they can get epic fights like back like pre-Velious... hell post-Velious.

I'd be more hyped about this than TOR or FFXIV

Tactics Ogre being remade for PSP by original staff

@Aerothorn

I think it was more the attack on War of the Lions than anything else. And Chrono Trigger too. It is good to know that Square Enix can still hit the fans with good content.

I absolutely loved this game on the Playstation.
