its not dlc. for the psp at least. 100%.
however, the announcement will prolly NOT be a ds game becuase they already tried naruto there and it DIDNT work. graphics were good but gameplay... meh. online play.... none :(
hell, for all we know, it wont even be naruto. im expecting something not naruto and DEFINENTELY, not psp...

bs. i have a relative who works in microsoft. he has confirmed there is a prototype bluray. its just a box tho... unimpressive...

u guys are heartless. i think he should release it as the killer homebrew app because that would get the word out. so if his brew is a huge success, maybe publisheres will try to contact him to port it OFFICIALLY to the ds. im rootin for ya man. the homebrew scene needs people like you :)

umm what is this bs about hardcore ds games and casual? let me regale u a tale of my psp and ds origins.
in 7th grade i had a GBA. i wanted to upgrade so my parents said either DS or PSP. i said DS because is said "I can play PS2 games instead of psp". so i ha my ds, i played mariokart, zelda, pokemon.... after that, nothing. my grandma plays my ds. all she does is play sudoku. i moved to washington and right before that, i gave hger my ds cuz she would enjoy it more. so what do i do now? i play my psp.lets face it guys. psp IS for hardcore crowd. the only "casual" games are My Spanish coach and something about cookin. everything else is NOT casual. not everything is hardcore, but its definintely not casual. whereas the psp has 3 casual, ds has 30. and thats understatement. prolly more. in fact, more than half the ds games are aimed at casual crowd. its the rare game like zelda or world ends with you that actually breaks from the psck.
the ds gets boring. stylys? great, what if you lose it? what do u do then? ds games? no wifi? no store? no online distribution. and dont say dsi ware becasue we all know thats a load of bs and the downloading times will be like a snail? hell, my pe teacher traded in his DS for a psp? why, cuz everyone at our school had one. no one had ds's. yes yes i know i sound like a psp fanboy, which i am, but thats the great thing about comments, you can do wutever the hell u want.

i reccomend everyone try the japanese demo in the demo section at psp fanboy.
heres my comment on this story
hammerin hero is okay as a sidescroller. its fun to play at times and i guess thats what matters. BUUUUT unlike prinny and other platformer, with no online stuff like expansion packs, or other stuff like leaderboards, is it really worth forty dollars? to me? meh

in my opinion, this game will be bad or great. one of the two and heres why
1. Good: made by tecmo, known for their brutal difficulty in nija gaiden can tailor this game to be strategic yet brutally difficult, increasing the tense moments when fighting the undeads. you know, more hardcore. combine some dungeon levels, realistic sound, pop out zombie and some creative enemies and youve got yourself a good horrow game.
2. for every good, there is bad. for one thing, its the graphics. Its shown 2 zombies versus a bajillion knights. NO! get me some one on one or 3 player team play MAX. no one likes runnig over the undead with a pile of soldiers. also, horror games NEED a okay story and im reaaally worried that tecmo will skimp out.
but i will nonetheless get it... eventually.... depends on the reviews.... i fear this wont end well :(

wow guys im gonna break this down for yall. mmk, first i bough a DS. it sucked. then i bought a psp, it sucked. then i got it hacked and now my psp doesnt suck. Yeah sure piracy sucks and all and everyone is blaming the hackers for their loss of games but the simple fact is if the psp werent hackable, it would be NOWHERE as popular. the first thing i do with my psp is i hack it. and if it has ta_088v3 mobos, i take it back. Why? its not cuz of the software cuz lets face it... maybe 5 good games were released in 08 that werent available on other consoles (Thank you EA sports). Lets see...
1. Crisis core. Not many people even pirate this game. Why? Cuz its 1.5 gigs. u know how long that takes?
2. god of War. same as crisis core. ridiculously big filesize
3. Patapon. this game even aint that great. after i beat it, its gone :D
4. I cant even think of others.... ugh cabelas was okay...
the psp had nothing to pirate. the developers dont like the psp. its not cuz it can be hacked. its just that no one was buying them. so they use the piracy as a scapegoat. In japan, where the psp sells like hotcakes, developers dont care if there is piracy. they still manafacture games by the dozen. Koei's 09 lineup IS psp. what pspfanboy needs to learn si that homebrew is in. i mean good god man, i get more info reading qj.net. if i were you, i would add waaaay more stories relating to psp. add homebrew such as CSPSP. up to version 1.6 its the pinnacle of homebrew. online deathmatch, friend lists, online chat, complete server lists, its a fine example of what can be accomplished. If anything, the best thing pspfanboy can do is add me as a moderator because every day i check this site on my ipod, or psp or desktop and everyday im let down. i can ACTUALLY contribute with stories that MATTER. the one thing ive learned from this site that i didnt know before is that scrabble is coming out.
in response to gripshift, you guysa re all idiots. the gripshift exploit is real. quit saying that its not and try it out yourselves. i did. ZOMG it works!!! yeah i cant use kernel mode but its a giant step. frankly, i played this game and it sucked. hard. if anything, this gave me a reason to track it down.
