Trivial Pursuit to allow safer family get-togethers starting March 10

I was actually looking forward to this game...

And then they decided not to have Live play. Um what?

Instant non-sale.

Rumorang: Mass Effect DLC mentioned in new ME release documentary

Feb 16th 2009 1:47PM (Joystiq)
I agree with many here that this is not what I want from ME DLC. A fight club? Really? *yawn*

I want more story, more planets to explore, more races to meet.

This is one of my favorite games for the 360, and they completely dropped the ball on DLC....and now this. It makes me sad.

Bring on Mass Effect 2.

You will not escape Dungeon Twister on XBLA

Great news. Love the board game and the expansions.

I hope they make 3D models of the characters and add animation and effects, rather than just a straight board game translation, but I would still buy it regardless.

One important key to this game is that they simply HAVE to provide a turn timer. This game is a major gotcha for analysis paralysis.

That's good to know. A 3 second timer would go a long ways to negating the automatic popups.

Are there any rules variations in the full game?

Can you disable the automatic popups for Pung, Chow, Kong?

Is there a turn timer you can set?

Unfortunately it does not appear that there are any options for rules variations.

Also, I'm not sure if there is anyway to turn off the automatic pop-up that tells you when you have a Chow, Pung, or Kong. This certainly makes it easier for newer players, but takes away some of the nuance of the game. I also couldn't see anything that looked like a turn timer.
