That last guy sure has a shiny, somewhat un-masculine 'package', no?

Rag Doll team enlisted for PS3 exclusive

Not to be raining on their parade (Ragdoll Kung-Fu is pretty cool), but Id is probably the most successful small company operating. Actually, they probably aren't as small nowadays, but they've more then proven that it doesn't take 100+ people to make million-selling games.

Either River City Ransom or The Simpsons. The Simpsons wasn't as good as TMNT:TAG, but the license is more fun, and the two-player combos were pretty kick-ass. Also, the license is still relevant to this day without having to be resurrected like a hundred times.

Microsoft and Nintendo keep up with Sony, get sued for controller patents

Aug 4th 2006 2:18PM (Engadget)
Variable Conductance Sensor with Elastomeric Dome Cap - why, that sounds like an analog stick! Variable conductance = pressure sensitive. Elastomeric Dome Cap = round, domed top to it, fools.

These lawsuits are pretty frivilous, IMHO, but look how MS paid up (and I think Nintendo as well) with the owners of the force feedback technology (Immersion? The same guys that ended up suing Sony). At most, they will probably get a few shut-up bucks so that MS and Nintendo can keep going on with their business.

The unofficial Xbox Live Arcade sales chart, and other useless facts

I always figured that gamerscore 'issue' is a way Microsoft is trying to guilt you into purchasing software that you demo by you seeing what looks like a bad stat. For now (read - until they make it work the way I (and apparently everyone else) wants it to), I just ignore it as meaningless.
Interesting article, in any case.
