PC version of Driver: San Francisco needs permanent internet connection
Jul 27th 2011 8:54PM (Joystiq)Passing here as well. I fly twice a month, so it's not like I'm boycotting, I would just never actually get to play the game. It sucks, because I saw the developer commentary/gameplay video, and it looks really cool. There needs to be a way to shelter myself from all the cool games that have crap DRM. Spencer: Halo without Master Chief just isn't as 'centered' on what players want

Prey 2 cinematic teases parkour-fueled, bounty-grabbing mayhem
Jun 3rd 2011 3:11PM (Joystiq)SSFIV Arcade Edition PC to discourage piracy (and frustrate buyers) with 'limited' offline mode
May 26th 2011 7:29PM (Joystiq)It also punishes people who may just not always have internet. I buy tons of single player capable PC games for my laptop because I'm on the road or flying for work all the time. I bought SFIV on Steam, just picked up the complete Sam & Max, and I was planning on picking this up as well. Looks like I'll have to pirate it to actually be able to play the full game

May 16th 2011 12:40AM (Joystiq)"most of the combat in Dead Island is melee-based"
Totally Left 4 Dead. I don't remember, but did that game even have guns?
