XBLA: I love it. I've found myself playing more and more live titles. I agree with the earlier comments about these being a great source of "family" titles. My young daughters love the live titles. "Turn the man into a chicken again Dad!"
Pricing: Current pricing seems reasonable to me: 400 points ($5) for retro classics, 800 points ($10) for original titles. This is MORE than fair. For the price of a value meal, I can play Galaga until my eyes bleed? Sign me up!!
Ports: What makes the retro titles really cool is that they ARE more than ports. Sure Joust and Gauntlet are the EXACT same games as the arcade versions, but there is more. It would have been enough to include achievements, but being able to play co-op over live? Insane.
Microsoft: Love 'em or hate 'em, you have to admit they hit it out the park with this service. I remember it wasn't that long ago that when live was announced for the original x-box everyone laughed at MS. Not only has the laughing stopped, but now Sony and Nintendo are scrambling to have similar services for their systems. That should be proof enough that XBLA is a bid geal.
