the Zulian Slicer was a drop from High Priest Thekal in Zul'Gurub, while the Finkle's Skinner dropped from The Beast in Upper Blackrock Spire. While both could replace a regular skinning knife in your bags, to get the +10 bonus skill, either weapon would need to be equipped.

Actually neither counted as a skinning knife until I believe it was patch 2.0.

I know I'll be called a troll, but seriously, 71/0/0 spec, only one profession to max and that's mining. You have done Naxx 10, 25 and sarth each two or less times. You have 15 in cooking and 60 in first aid.

I'm not usually one to critique someone openly, but you write for one of wow's biggest sites. You have written articles about endgame and strategies, yet by your rep, you have almost no experience in that which you write. I wouldn't say anything, but I don't know how anyone can be expected to take it seriously.
