I agree with Miles. Zac LaCombe totally made that story up as he was typing it. Lame.

Fake iPhone unboxing

Didn't http://www.SillyReviews.com do this already? I wonder who was first. If you haven't seen the ridiculous video review of the Apple iPhone already on SillyReviews.com, go check it out. I think it's on the second page of articles/reviews now.

TUAW Resolutions: Get in Shape

These are nice but what if you don't want to listen to cheesey disco remixes or played out songs that come on mtv, the radio, etc? www.WorkoutCD.com should be on this list. The site is described as Downloadable High Energy Workout Music. They're having a big end of the year sale on their electronic fitness mixes.

New Halo 3 info, new weapons, new grenade [update 1]

Ok this is all great. What we need to know is real, confirmed info about online multiplayer. Is Bungie giong to neutralize matchmaking by hosting gameplay on their own servers or not?

I absolutely refuse to buy this game on release date until I read about or hear from friends whether or not standbying is a problem.

As mentioned in a comment above, modding doesn't seem to be a big concern as of now. I hope it never is. I think Bungie should do some type of map matching similar to the way sports games compare multiplayer rosters to make sure they match.

It would be great if they just include every wonderful map possible on the disc and not as downloads in the future. Anything downloaded to the harddrive opens the door to modding.

I also want info about downloadable crap. Will they be charging EA-style for stuff that should have been included in the game already and would have been if micropayments weren't an option?

In my humble opinion, this game can go one of two ways. The first would be the greatest, most played game for years to come. The second will be the biggest disappointment in gaming history.

Another feature I would also enjoy is to make in-game chatting similar to Saints Row. I DO NOT want to hear hillbillies, punk kids, whiggers, etc. cursing and yelling during the game.

Bored moron tortures Xbox 360 Customer Support

There's nothing funny about this. Where's the punchline? Where's the joke? Two Thumbs Down.

When Steve Nash drives to the hole and throws in a sweet layup, it's great. When he does it to some crappy hip-hop/rap music......lame.

Madden has a bug in its shorts

Aug 22nd 2006 5:54PM (Joystiq Xbox)
I hate EA. I think Madden sucks and has sucked for some time now but I'm not broke and I do love football so with this being the only option, I bought it at midnight last night.

Fatique meter not showing = How lame is this. So, they ARE tiring but it just doesn't show up while picking plays/packages. Wow. Awesome EA. Way to go guys. Maybe next, you'll put out a racing game where the vehicle does run out of gas but the gauge always reads full.

See folks, this is what you get when you have such a desireable product niche with no competition.

Other things that suck about this game:

The Delivery:
How lame is this game's delivery?? Super Duper lame! The announcer is a bore and everything else is completely boring. Where's the exitement.

The repackaging:
Those stupid Madden haters. They always want to make the false claim that Madden simply repackages the same piece of crap year after year.

[sarcasm] Madden 07 plays nothing like Madden 06, 05, 04..... [ / sarcasm ]

The Cut Scenes:
OMFG!!!!!! When playing a game of football online, it takes long enough. To have to sit through these f**king cut scenes is pure agony. Every single play is a cut scene. 1 Online Game = 45min - 1hr 15 min
What happened to calling a play, the players quickly coming to the line, and while the players are walking to the line, the defensive player has the change to see the formation and make adjustments. Now, the offense can snap quickly after the cut scene leaving the defensive player without a chance to even switch players.

There are some cool offline features on this game. I've tried a little bit of everything but I have to say that this game is still full of flaws . Additionally, this game lacks exitement and oftentimes makes the player feel like he isn't even in control of what is going on.

Two thumbs way DOWN!
