But looking at the stats here 360 wins the tech battle.
Still games & cost are important.. what with sony opting for a new & expensive technology and losing all their decent exclusive titles too... doh!

ps. When did sony EVER back a winner in the 'format wars' Blu ray fans brace your selves to own the modern day equivalent of Eight Track, Betamax, laser disc and Mini Disc(as a main stream product) I'm not saying Sony backed all of these BTW I'm just using examples...

Ok for the sake of.. well honesty I have a 360 & I think it's great. There I said it. I'm not a Micro$oft fan boy though, my pc's all run Linux. Now thats out of the way on to my point(s).
(1)I hope it's more reliable than the PS/PS2 espcially for that kind of money.
(2)Blue Ray will affect the base line production costs. Gee the discs only cost X amount? What about the new facilities and technology to burn the discs en mass? Yeah it's going to cost.
(3)The cell processors aren't really designed for games..
(4)As is demonstrated by the lack of bandwith in the PS3.. Sorry but it's like 50hz quicker than a 360 but has comparativley tiny bandwidth?? What were sony thinking?
(5)....having said all that I hope it rocks. I won't be buying one but my Sony fan mates will. The more good systems out there the better!
Personally I'll be sticking with the ol' 360 (& getting a Wii!)

Ah this is fun isn't it! I love the smell of hype & the fan boy tension in the air! I hope it does come to the 360 (i've got one & I loves it). Looks like a quality title. Not wanting to be drawn into the argument over PS3/350.. but won't PS3 games be more expensive if they're on Blu-ray discs? Not only development costs but the physical media is a new technology! Sounds to costly for my tastes!
