The 12 Biggest Plot Holes in 'Iron Man 2'

May 19th 2010 5:16PM (Asylum)
Just because the movie isn't a direct simulation of the real world doesn't make it bad. I don't hear you complaining about the briefcase suit? Why because you thought it was cool. Just as unrealistic as Whiplash not getting hurt by the cars. As a comic book movie, there are certain liberties that can be taken. I personally DON'T believe that we are supposed to believe that this movie series is supposed to be possible in real life. They make these movies for the people that LIKED the comics and want to see their faav heros in full action or the ones that want to get into that hero's comic book world. Stop complaining about NON-exhstant plot holes and rate the judge the movie on how well it does in it's genre!

Besides I don't see u complaining about Avitar when it is just as "feasable" as Iron Man.

Tech reliability??? Somoen hasn't been watching tv now have they? Toyota and reliability should never be posted in the same sentence for a LONG time. Oh yeah, and didn't Ford just outsell VW in Europe or was every car site just horribly off? Yeah shut it if all you have to say is BS

Toyota Accused of Withholding Test Data

Feb 27th 2010 11:09AM (BloggingStocks)
Really? Chevy had a huge recall? Oh wait yeah it WAS in the news you idiot! It was actually announced right after the initial findings for the Toyota braking issues. The reason it's not so much in the new anymore is because Chevy WILLINGLY made the recall and FIXED the problem in a timely manner. Because that is what a company who cares about their custmers do. They admit their faults and fix the car issues. Chevy didn't try to hide the faults for over a decade and allow the same car issue so be placed on just about every car they make. Unlike Toyota. I agree with you that people don't know haw to drive though and there needs to be a better way to test people for a license.

Oh by the way, Toyota being the number one car company...yes they were number one in sale, only because of money grubbing people that have no respect for the civilized world like the first poster. Yeah all they did was pay off people who had complaints about their vehicles to never tell their story again. No that's perfectly acceptable because money fixes everything. HA! Such and infintile thought. It is no different than paying someone off to not speak of a robbery. JUST AS BAD! Dare I say even murder. Besides, look up the number of import recalls in the past decade. Now take a look at which ones were highly publicised? Yeah I thought so, the American car companies get the worst press so everything that went wrong was higly publicised. Yet import cars that had similar issues not little no no press. Hmmm that couldn't have anythingto do with the PR and Marketing machines that these companies OVER PAY to make their product look better than it really is.

Oh just to let you know, I've worked on cars for a good number of years and though I get all types of car, it seems the ones that I have to actually get parts for because they just "went bad" are Honda, Suzuki, Toyota, Mitubishi, and Chrysler. So tell me again that Toyota's have a good vehicle and you'll see me laugh in your face.

Yeah owning Toyota's for over 20 years means so much. I've owned Fords all my life, and my parents have TWO Mercedes Bentz and they like their Ford Focus and Ford Mustang better. My mom even said she liked her Ford Explorer over her Mercedes ML because she put almost 300,000 miles on the first Explorer motor. And almost 200,000 on the new USED explorer motor tat we put in it. If you want to hear stories about how awsome (insert car company)'s car is, go to a parts shop or your mechanic. Because EVERYONE has or had a friend that has owned a car for "X" amount of years and never had any probles. POINT IS MOOTE!

Sorry for the length but there are too many blind people about this subject.

Report: Toyota 'whistleblower' documents trouble House panel

Feb 26th 2010 10:32PM (Autoblog)
Really? literFL? Your going to tell me that the US companies have not gotten the same levels of investigation? Where have you been these past 30 years? I'm sure you and everyone else in this country can name HUGE recalls from all three US car companies. You've seen them in the media and know of them. Tell me how many of the recalls (yes they all have them) from the imort car companies have you seen in the media? I'm sure if you actually researched the recalls, you would find just how many recalls from import car companies NEVER get into the media. Thinking that the domsetic car companies are getting treated better than Toyota is just plain ignorant.

Also, the main issue here is no longer the recall, but the ILLEGAL cover-ups and the ILLEGAL pay-offs are th issue. Also the fact it took them YEARS to finally admit to their faults, but still don't fix anything.

As a person that'sbeen in the auto industry for a little while, I'm glad that people are seeing the kind of things about Toyota that I've seen for a while. I personaly havn't had to deal with any "sticking" pedals, but the number of issues that are NEVER registered by the on board computer is astounding!

Despite recalls, Consumer Reports names Honda Fit, Toyota Prius Best Values

Feb 24th 2010 4:01PM (Autoblog)
Does anyone else understand that resale value is solely affected by WHAT CONSUMERS WILL BUY? If Ford makes a car and consumers love and purchase them even after being used, the resale value would be great. Why? Not because the car is amazing and is the best car, but because people want it! Resale value is proof that advertising and marketing really detrmines how well a car is. Anyone remember the Mercedes ML's? Remember when the first came out they were highly rated? Yeah take a lok at them now. Unless they are imported, just like every import includeing the american domestics shipped to other countries, they were crap. An import tends to be better because the company doesn't want to pay for parts to ship out. A mustang exported out to Germany will far MUCH better than one built and sold here. COMMON SENSE PEOPLE!

I'm also always game for more country, but as Steve said it's the same stuff that's on the disc. And the one thing that really blows my mind is that of all the singers they have put on here from country...I still see no Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Reba, George Jones, and the worst of all no Bocephus! Now those are a good mix of country.
