I'm not demanding it for free, I'll gladly pay full price for a complete game.
I just think it's totally annoying that some players in a game posses more stuff than others because they were willing to pay more or were ABLE to pay more.
Plus, mindless boring grind mmos and tentacle porn are also pretty successful in asia, tehrefore it has to be good too! right?

In that case you're part of the problem.
Piracy heightens the financial risk publishers take when releasing a game, thus they don't dare lowering prices -- at least that's their argument when in fact, I think lower prices would actually prevent piracy.

But as for $60/€ 60 ... that's too fucking expensive for the mediocrity fest of todays games. I'm glad I don't own a current gen console, at least pc games are still 40-50 bucks.

Let's hope this game fails terrible so we won't see this micro transactions payment shit for a long time.

don't get me wrong now, I don't hate consoles or think they are generally dumb, but there are different games that fit onto different systems. Blizzard games and games mimicking System shock/Deus ex and classical rts games NEED mouse and computer input plus an amout of RAM and CPU power the Consoles just don't offer.

On the other hand, there are many games predestined to run on the consoles. PoP, mgs, jump'n runs.... never play those without controller.

But as for Blizzard, they do fine sticking to the PC.

What is it with all those iPhone games? I own an iPod touch and tried some games, but not one managed to keep me interested. The controls just aren't precise enough. I rather still play my GBA.
