@Shameful Sinner Learn to work the system. If you send a game back a few days before a new release comes out, and you've had it in your queue for a while then you'll get it. If you have no other currently released games in your queue, then you'll definately get it. I have nothing in my queue but pre-releases. If I want to play a game that's already out, I just put it on my queue.

Gamefly is great provided you don't treat it exactly like Netflix.

$2 a day is a little expensive if you ask me. Especially since the video rental store has a bigger selection and I can get a 5 day rental for about 6 bucks.

@Schlecht Agreed. There are some good free to play games out there, but for the most part, free games tend to be cheaply made. When it comes to MMORPGs at least. Unless they follow a model like Guild Wars

It's kind of amusing. You mean with all the hands on previews and such, not one reviewer voiced concern about it? That's the problem with most previews. They get you hyped on a game and then when the review comes on, they tear it to pieces.

@hensothor Except if you're a gold member, you're paying for something that you've already paid for..

@GreenElf Because that's DLC. It's a feature that's been added after the game release.

Online Access is a core component that Xbox Live Gold members have already paid for.

I think they might be a little too late. Arcades are pretty dead at this point.

@Lucky48 Except, as far as I know, the xbox 360 servers are run by microsoft. EA is the only one that can claim the "cost of maintaining servers"

And given what Ed Boon has said, this is done purely to combat the used market.
