Guitar Hero rocks on Wii, maybe DS too

It wouldnt need a wireless motion sensing guitar, just a place to attach the remote. Thats the beauty of the expansion port that is currently used for the nunchuck and classic controller.

US Nintendo press coverage not-so-live [update 9]

Sep 14th 2006 11:41AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I was pretty dissappointed with the Conference. Here is why:

$250 (if the price was going to be that high why did they lead us to believe otherwise)
$5-10 for the VC (not as bad but just a little much)
No Online Games (also sucks but DS started without Wifi)
Weaker Launch than expected (where are the games like Far Cry , MP3, Splinter Cell, and others that were promised at Launch, also not too big a deal but why mislead us?)

BUT the thing that I think is crazy is thw 60 dollars for the new controller. They have been hyping the multiplayer aspect of this thing forever but to get the additional 3 controllers needed for a 4player game would run you over $180!

Im still going to get one, but I don't think this price justifies the claim that the Wii is the console for the casual gamer.

What's your DS top 5?

In no particular order:

Sonic Rush
Metroid Prime Hunters
New Super Mario Brothers
Resident Evil DS
Mariokart DS
