The environments in SH3 were fantastic and probably the most oppressive in the series; I would argue that SH2 had the scariest environments though, but then that had the benefit of the narrative spending most of its time in Silent Hill.
SH3 was really the last major hurrah for the series, after that it all went southwards.
For the people saying that you can still enjoy the game by ignoring the community: that may be true if the game is a themepark but not so if it's like EvE or Darkfall where the community IS the game.
Completely agreed. Ramkahen, fine, quite enjoyable actually but thanks to the Harrison Jones stuff it pretty much went absolutely nowhere.
What happens to them? Do they pick a side between the Horde and the Alliance? Do they remain neutral? Does the Horde and Alliance start to pick through their land, the ruins, searching for power? Will they start trading with the outside world? It just really annoys me that the development of a genuinely interesting race got completely sidelined for a massive pop-culture reference.
