hahahahahah you know the 360's a piece of complete shit when both legit and basement repair shops spring up specializing in 360 repair. Honestly, you guys still think the 360 is cheaper than a ps3? hint: its not

Neither... if you havent heard yet, that's just how 360's operate...see you buy them cheap, it breaks on you, you pay to fix/mod/replace them, and then the process begins again. Dont you see the game in that?? The real fun is gambling with your friends as to how long you think the replacement lasts before the next round of fun begins!

you know you can play all those garbage games on the PC right? Then you can be low-grav rocketjumping in all its crappy glory without worring of your PC melting...just Windows crashing...

And for the last time, you cant compare PS2's problems to the 360's. Hell you cant even compare the Titanic's problems to the 360. The PS2 had ONE major issue: The Disk Read Error (and many of those could have been caused by actual dirty/scratched disks or simply a dirty laser lens. Lets see how many major issues the 360 has...the infamous and inevitable Red Ring of Death, the new and improved E74 error, and your own form of Disk Read Errors (how many different drives has M$ tried now??? over 10)

So as you can see, your comparing a large stab wound, to being shot multiple times in the face and chest. So ya, we kept our PS2's because there was only one issue you really had to worry about, and then even if you knew of it happeneing to a friend, it was one or 2 friends...not every single friend with the console like it is now with the 360. All you have to do is read the comments and hear the repeated trend of "im on my 3rd box", "my first 3 systems failed", "i got the ____ error" and you cant argue that the xbox 360 is the poorest (not to mention the ugliest lol) console ever made in terms of reliablity. Not even the Jaguar x64 or 3D0 had this multitude of issues plaguing it...

NO WONDER THE 360 SELLS, ITS CAUSE EVERYONE HAS TO BY A 2ND, 3RD, THEN 4TH WITHIN 3 YEARS. And you know what? you are all idiots for it too, they're not gunna fix the issue if they still have idiots waiting inline to pay for multiple repairs followed by a new system after the repairs dont work. What a joke Microsoft's gaming division is. Seriously, we should all point and laugh, before turning to point and laugh at the idiots who support such a poorly made product blindly -- EVEN AFTER ITS BROKEN DOWN ON THEM MORE THEN THEY WOULD ALLOW ANY OTHER PRODUCT, YET THEY STILL BUY A NEW ONE...If I were Microsoft, I'd do the same shit cept, stick you with $200 repair fee cause apparently most (not all, just those who are on their 2+ 360, and those who bought a 360 knowing full well about the RRoD and such) xbox owners are too stupid to see anything wrong with that

Is your Xbox 360 an E74 victim?

This is Microsoft we're talking....Have you ever tried a version of Windows that hasn't crashed on you?? What were you expecting?

your an idiot for two reasons:

1.First and foremost for the way your spell and talk on the internet.
2. A ps3 does'nt freeze if your computer is on if they're both on the internet you tool. (and even if it somehow did, least it doesnt melt when you play games like the 360)

Oh no doubt the PS1 and PS2 were not without their problems, but again its plain to see the 360 takes the cake for the largest failure rates of any console. I personally never had to exchange, fix, or do anything special with my PS1, 2 or 3. I know people who have (mind you I only know of the DRE of the PS2...i've never heard anything about hardware issues on the PS1).

But aside from agreeing that all electronic products have a failure rate, im arguing that the xbox's is ridiculous! Like for the ps2, you recite the disc read error. That was the only major issue the PS2 had. The Xbox 360 now has 2 (huge) major issues and its newer than the ps2 and was created by a tech giant.

And how is it the playstation brand went through two generations of "massively high failure rates"??? You had a ps2 and 1 and only had 1 problem and only know 1 other person who had to replace his. I know 1 person who also had to replace a PS2. That makes 3 fails between you and me. Now how people do you know with xbox 360s that failed (keeping in mind there are way more PS2's in the world than xbox 360's). Ok I personally know 3 people with xbox 360s. How bout you? Going by the number or people i personally know had a console fail on them (ps1: 0, ps2:1, ps3:0, x360:3), You can clearly see that the failure rate is higher for the 360 than the ps1 and 2 combined. Lets see you numbers? Or better yet, read some posts before me, I cant even count how many people are on their 4th, 5th, 6th and even 7th (ya one guy is on his 7th!!) 360? So how do you justify "massive failure rates" the playstation consoles??? If playstations were massive, than xbox's are apocalyptic. What # xbox are you on now?? Stats say your first one broke down a long time ago...

PSN download charges proving unpopular among publishers

Good point, Even if you were uploading to all these mirror sites for free, what, you think its free for the company to UPLOAD to 6 Mirror sites? no it, like every other download/upload, uses up bandwidth. So its not free, either way. Further more, when your corporate, things arent free like uploading to your own server. Everything is based on usage and bandwidth, I know because we have several clients in the healthcare industry who use our infrastructure and network and they pay per GB bandwidth usage fee's to upload they're reports and X-Ray data (one clinic uploads between 5-15GB per day and we have 8 clinics using our system) and they dont complain because its just how it is.

And you think uploading to FilePlanet or RapidShare is free if your corporate? I seriously doubt it because these companies realize corporate users are not uploading an mp3 to be downloaded a couple thousand times, we're talking large files that will be potentially downloaded millions and millions of times.

Bottom line: it most certainly not free for a corporate company to store high-traffic files on anything but their own servers (and even then, they still have to pay for bandwidth which gets used as people download the file off their servers, which is why they pay the fee when its on someone else's servers)

PSN download charges proving unpopular among publishers

Hey Stephen

Did you know that those robbers at Microsoft still make you pay separate for Netflix?? Paying your XBL subscription doesnt mean Jack! you have to buy the Netflix subscription on TOP of your XBL subscription. Talk about highway robbery. Then they want you to go spend $200 on a proprietary 120GB harddrive (which is really the same harddrive you and i put in our PS3's wrapped in some plastic so they can charge extra) so you have space for those movies. How can anyone respect a company that gouges at them so relentlessly and almost proudly.
