@Seven2k This is just a terrible move by Apple. Not only are they not doing anything about their -24db attenuation, they are saying that its perfectly normal, deal with it. That's really not how Apple ran things a couple years ago.
As for this "test"... of course you're gonna be dropping bars when you're blocking the antenna in a place where you dont get good signal, I get that with my 4 yr old Nokia flip phone. We really dont care how many bars it drops, Apple can mod their software to read full bars at -131db attenuation.
A more conclusive test, hell, the only test that proves anything of value would be for Apple to test HOW MUCH ATTENUATION is there. See if any other phone matches the -24db of the i4. Seriously Jobs, this is not good business practice... doubt you'll find any business school teaching to you shift blame to save face

I think i caught a cold.. hopefully kotick will never decide to pursue ownership of hospitals... wouldn't want him to charge me hourly for walking the the grounds or asking for a hourly subscription to continue breathing the air in the building....
It's true, Im a senior at Case Western Reserve U in Cleveland OH. Usually, the school sends an email to the individual whom watchdog groups report have been downloading and sharing copyrighted material, but just last year, we the gov offering money and all that jazz, IT finally blocked all communications of the DC protocol [which we use for intra-campus file sharing] and started heavily throttling Bittorrent traffic... sigh...
who said it was for skype? it makes perfect sense that you point the camera the direction of the thing you want to record... obviously that means the mic should be facing that way too.
