CBS' YouTube channel launched today

Oct 19th 2006 10:32AM (AOL TV)
Being the person to first post on this, my thought is nobody cares. CBS is national network which everyone receives anyway. When the amount of shows on YouTube then removes the need for TiVo, then we'll have something to look forward to.

Box Office Report: The Grudge 2 Scares Off Scorsese

Oct 16th 2006 10:30AM (Cinematical)
The cheesy acting doesn't deter me from enjoying this movie. You come to these movies for the quality of the scare. While it's not too scary for those who don't believe in the supernatural or scare to easily, the creativity that went into each one still makes it an enjoyable film. Remember, you don't go to a horror movie for an oscar winning performance, you go simply to laugh, jump and scream. If you didn't manage to do any of those at this movie, then it's failed. For me, it did not.

The youngest professional sport is always the worlds fastest growing sport.

And it is extremely boring.

AMC's New Concession Idea

Aug 30th 2006 10:55AM (Cinematical)
The reason is the theatre themselves only get a small percentage of the total ticket sales, definitely not enough to pay every employee there. Only the food distribution counts for absolute income, so they come down on employee's hard to upsell. I know this because I've done my time in hell. I blame the theatre's themselves for not having much to make a person want to buy from their concessions.

Peaceaholics protest Bully, Best Buy

Aug 28th 2006 10:48AM (Joystiq)
I assume its mild compared to GTA games. From what I hear it sounds like a pretty decent game. I don't know exactly what these people know about this game but they probably are misinformed. Why wouldn't they take up their concerns with Rockstar though? Like in the form of a letter? Staging a protest in front of a random Best Buy singing one of the worst protest songs ever created doesn't seem to accomplish anything. If I were in the area at the time, I would've probably been coaxed into buying it to see what the ruckus was all about. I think it was funny that kids were there protesting it. I know they'd have no problem playing it behind their parents back. I'm familiar with inner city children (being that I was one) and yes, they are very susceptible to a grown-up's suggestion. So there's probably just one God-fearing loon who thinks their doing something good for their community by protesting a game that's rated "TEEN".
