Rumor: MS planning five hour long New Xbox Experience media blitz

Sep 8th 2008 4:34PM (Joystiq Xbox)
If this is true, microsoft should get a huge advantage over sony this christmas (unless they've got something up their sleeves as good as well.)

Just imagine: Assassins Creed 2 and Mass Effect 2 exclusives + getting (speculations here) Halo 1, Fable, plus other 4 free games (I don't care 'bout the rest as long as those two are on the list) + netflix + the new xbox 360 experience + price cuts...

It'd be one hell of a console!

First of all, controls for veteran Battlefront gamers are quite difficult, BUT, for newgamers it might be easy to use. Second of all, Campaign mode is disappointingly short and easy when used under default difficulty, and graphics wise, it doesn't have a stellar draw distance, nor exellent graphics shown at games like Daxter, or Vice City stories. There is, however a nearly unlimited ammount of combinations possible for your character, a Galaxy Conquest game that ressembles the game play of Jeanne D'arc, multiplayer, etc. but it is disappointing the absence of Ad-Hoc mode in Galaxy Conquest. It is, however a nicely done game that can be pretty fun, and that, for once, isn't a port.

Looks like galactic conquest is similar to Jeanne D'arc's turn-based mode. If it's anything like it, thumbs up, because Jeanne D'arc is just great!

Well, as a battlefront virgin myself, I'm glad controls aren't as confusing as Andrew and Colin said, so that's good news.

Good, but I'd like to know wether it's infrastructure, or ad-hoc. Af it is infrastructure, is there any lag present?

well, well, well: now that's surprising. I love both my PSP and starwars, both the movies and the games, but I never thought it would come out right, exept for Lego StarWars. BTW, PSP 2k is supopsed to be out, but, I just moved back to the states, and I can't find it anywhere! Not that I can buy it, really, but I wannna check it out!
