I might have not expressed my discontent for the ending.

I just meant the ending isn't broken they gave me the worst ending they could make up and any ending they give me wont' make up for it. if they changed anything with the game no matter what they give me it won't feel the same as playing through all 3 games, nothing will simulate the build up, it won't link well or at all with another ending it won't happen with me or anyone else. I probably won't play a bioware game again and i definitely won't pay for anything.

So i'll take this game at a lost.

I agree, saying linearity breaks immersion is saying that i can't get immersed into a great book or watch a suspenseful movie. Though I can say that FFXIII didn't meet any of my expectations of a good linear game and I'm not one to hype a non-sequel just because of the title or company.

Opinions Good: Lunar SSCS, Tales Series (*Destiny, Vesperia, Symphonia*), Valkyrie Profile, Xenogears, Star Ocean Series

Bad: FFXIII, FFVIII, Saga Frontier 2, Grandia Xtreme, Last Remnant
