Too bad Amazon doesn't has the worst deal out of all of these. Those three tracks are very cool though!

Dreamcast Returns on PSN and XBLA this year

Major Nelson posted on Twitter once about Simpsons Arcade for the iPhone. I replied to him that it would be perfect for XBLA. I doubt he read my reply, but it would be too cool if they put it out.

Earthworm Jim HD trailer wriggles out

Jun 1st 2010 2:09PM (Joystiq)
The "groovy" at the end is clearly not the same from the original game. Hopefully that will be fixed when it is released. Either way, I will still buy this the day it comes out. I'm absolutely thrilled by all the HD remakes of the classic games from years past! Now if someone could start working on Panic on Funkatron....

'Online Pass' specific to EA Sports, 'no announcement' on Medal of Honor

May 11th 2010 6:30PM (Joystiq)
You guys are right Gamestop is the problem. They aren't giving less wealthy people an opportunity to enjoy the video games that some people can afford at full retail value. Also, they totally screw big companies buy not selling brand new products at all. Come to think of it, it's just like a used car lot. I suppose we should abolish those too, so people who can't afford a brand new car are totally screwed. Or maybe, if you buy a used car, it shouldn't be able to go in reverse without giving Honda some extra money.

'Online Pass' specific to EA Sports, 'no announcement' on Medal of Honor

This is pure greed. Gamestop and other used game stores have the right to sell used games, and we have the right as consumers to buy a used product. Let's say I buy Madden used, but I can't even try the online mode unless I pay EA? I already pay $50 a year for xbox live, and charging me because I want to play your game online, used or not, is a major deterrant for me, which will certainly dissuade me from buying the same game again next year with a new cover athlete and a $60 price tag. This is coming from the company that already publishes every game known to man? Bad move in my opinion, although this will certainly promote competition.

Review: Lost Planet 2

May 6th 2010 1:10PM (Joystiq)
Not surprised. I enjoyed the original Lost Planet...demo. The full game was a huge let down. I personally haven't enjoyed any Capcom games in the current generation. In my opinion, this is a great example of a sequel that no one was asking for.

Rocket Knight blasting off May 2010

I am thoroughly enjoying the old school remakes and reissues on XBLA, although I think it would be really cool if Xbox and/or developers would ask for more consumer input on what games to do next. This looks really fun though and I can't wait to try it

Hands-on: Lego Harry Potter, Years 1-4

Apr 8th 2010 1:14PM (Joystiq)
@toop well put. I would much rather read a preview from someone who has at least played the series, much less enjoyed one or two of the games. Sure they are kind of silly games, and not really meant for adults, but I have found them to be a fun alternative to some of the more "heavy lifting" games out there. There are enough people on staff at Joystiq that someone else could've done this one. It's like someone doing a preview for the new Madden who says, "I've never played Madden and I don't like sports games, although I do like to watch football."
