Personally, I'd rather believe one of the senior programmers of Uncharted 2 rather than the Xbox fanboy who is trying to suggest it would run better on Xbox360 even though the Xbox360 is in fact less powerful overall - this is also fact, I encourage you to look it up. ;)

If you knew anything about Naughty Dog you'd know that Christophe Balestra is not just co-president and an exec, he's also a senior programmer; so I think you'll find he knows a tad more about the how the PS3 hardware runs than you.

I read in an interview, with Amy Hennig I believe, that when talking about using the PS3's power at 30% in Uncharted and 100% in Uncharted 2, they are talking about idle time - the Cell Processor was utilized fully 30% of the time in Uncharted 1 and they apparently got it near dead on 100% with Uncharted 2... but even saying that, they are talking about using 100% of the PS3's power within the limitations of their game code - they can always make it more efficient which is where you get improved graphics as more processing power is freed up, they can be used elsewhere to perform other tasks.

So many people like to instantly judge anyone who makes a comment like this as a hype merchant, but seriously, the proof is in the pudding. Play the game, you'll see that there's been nothing like it thus far in the console world.

I think the trailer really hit the nail on the head - probably the first Heavy Rain trailer I've thought "ooh this is worth getting" after seeing. My only gripe would be the facial expressions are a bit weak in places. At the beginning the guy is playing with his kid and still has a stoney emotionless expression. When you can see what Naughty Dog can do (even in Uncharted Drake's Fortune) this kind of weakness should be a thing of the past, especially with first party devs.

Still, that aside I really enjoyed Fahrenheit and will be looking forward to giving this a whirl too.

I was thinking of SSF; that emulator is near perfection nowadays - it runs every Sega Saturn game I ever threw at it, including Panzer Dragoon Saga, which it ran perfectly from my PC disc drive, I didn't use roms of the discs.

Would be fantastic if it becaome available to everyone at an affordable price. Raises hopes of a full remake which would look stunning beyond belief on the xbox 360 or PS3.

It's the 29th of January yet no patch... le sigh. Hopefully it will be added soon.
