LaBeouf Returning for 'Indiana Jones 5'; Calls Script "Crazy"

Aug 22nd 2010 11:23PM (Cinematical)
Yeah, the general consensus was positive, but I think it's enduring legacy is the bad taste left in people's mouths, and it's not just fanboys. When pop culture in general, like 30 rock is mocking the film, I think it's safe to say that the general consensus is negative.

On Alec Baldwin's awesomeness, one character says: "The Indiana Jones movies are based on his life. Except for that last one".

Portal 2 delayed until 2011

Jun 9th 2010 12:57PM (Joystiq)
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't getting agited at Valve.

Don't even talk to me if Portal 2 is as short as the last.

Midnight openings for Splinter Cell: Conviction at GameStop

Apr 10th 2010 4:23PM (Joystiq)
Sorry, you are really grasping at straws now.

There is way more to the game than the campaign: The Deniable ops mode: Hunter, infiltration, Last stand, and face-off. In game challenges Another brand new co-op campaign which is another SIX HOURS long.

Do you seriously think the game has such high fidelity visuals that it can only hold 5 hours of content? Give me a break. As we saw with Mass Effect 2, having multiple discs really isn't that big of a deal to anybody.

Splinter Cell: Conviction goes gold, new trailer sneaks into view

Mar 24th 2010 4:47PM (Joystiq)
The demo was pretty poorly put together- the long, unskippable cut scene after the interrogation made me only play it a few times, as opposed to me having the Just Cause 2 demo running 24/7.

Nevertheless, rocking the execution system is pretty damn awesome. I think I'll pick this un up.

Hollywood's Obsession with Orange and Teal

Mar 20th 2010 2:54PM (Cinematical)
Ahhhh, blue and orange contrast- as a designer, I see this all the time (and sometimes use it as well). It`s mainly seen on posters, but can be found lots in films as well. A quick google search found these:

This is done because high colour contrast is always visually exciting and helps make the poster 'pop', and the greater the contrast, the more exciting. Blue is the furthest colour on the 'coo' scale that looks visually pleasing, and orange is the furthest thing on the 'dynamic/exciting' range without being too abrasive. If that principle applies to the posters, I don't see why it wouldn't to film. So there you have, a semi scientific explanation.

Ubisoft confirms demo for Splinter Cell Conviction

Mar 12th 2010 2:14PM (Joystiq)
Great, this is just what I need. I'm a hardcore Splinter Cell fan, but I'm still not 100 percent sold on some of the gameplay changes, the videos and previews haven't got me convinced. This demo should hopefully convince me to pick it up.

Impressions: Medal of Honor

And now it seems like many of the Call of Duty guys wouldn't mind heading back to EA. Who would have ever thought, huh?

Wow, he has two daughters and they both bite it.
Sam Fisher is the world's worst father.
