Dec 22nd 2011 5:29PM (Joystiq)I remember asking nintendo about how much power their games uses and apparently GBA games use more power then DS games when they're played on the DS (I asked along time ago). So I assume that same rule applies here. Please keep in mind that the GBA games arent optimized for proper power consumption because as for right now, GBA games are only for Ambassadors.
Oops! Game-halting bug in Skyward Sword (and how to avoid it)
Dec 6th 2011 11:46AM (Joystiq)thats not true.. Nintendo can fix games by doing a system firmware update which doesn't use up any of its flash storage memory. The thing with Metroid Other M and sending their SD card save file to Nintendo was another option for people who couldn't wait for Nintendo to release a systemfirware update.

Feb 28th 2011 12:08AM (Joystiq)That split screen without having split screen would be nice. Sadly I don't think our systems are efficient enough to do it quite yet without major sacrifices to what's being made. Can you imagine how much power would be needed to render all that at once at the same time?
Sure the PS3 can render 3D images right now. But to render separate 2 games, running at the same time, on one system, for 2 different people, from 2 different angles. I don't think it be very possible nor practical. They could do it but not right now. I mean do they really need to?
Do developers really need to add that feature when it be better to use a systems processing power to render even more amazing effects? I think that this tech would be great for movies but not quite as much for games. Like I said, I don't consider it very practical quite yet.

Feb 15th 2010 2:26AM (Joystiq)I would be have a large narrow nose for the front but very wide. Its broad body would be wide and colored in a dark haze green. It's outer appearence would consist of deep rigged cuts from the many men that tried to destory. Patch jobs and dark streaks. Its battered shell left a lingering sense of wonderment to some but cause much grinded teeth for others.
Though not the most attractive Air Ship in the world. People would know if it do its unique name and body. Its crew would consist Asian Pirates who regardless of their stereotype would be well dressed and good with the ladies of all cultures. Hence why it would be refered to as "The Asian Sensation thats sweeping the nation" on its bumper.
