Still to expensive and the 3D doesn't impress me. Game prices have gotten too expensive for hand helds as well.

You obviously haven't played this game. Why post?

+Explosions are just as good as in 2017.
+Bugs shoot skyward and off the map like in 2017.
+Bosses are amazingly huge and really tough. I love the bosses.
+Weapon drops ARE in the game, and the best ones are all drops.
+AI buddies are all in the game, co-op or not.
+15 levels is short, but on hard and inferno, it will take you 20+ hours.
+Classes are actually VERY diverse.
+Dialogue is dumb as it has ever been.
+Each difficulty has a different ending........

I've been playing it non-stop. It is a 10/10 game easily.

While true, Valve does own the server software. They have the final say in the matter. If they don't want the mod run with their server software then the server owners can feel free to stop running their server altogether.

We can only dream. Another Populous would be cool. Imagine Populous 1 with Kinect controls to pick people up, raise and lower the land? He's probably just screw that up too by trying to add in a bunch of dumb crud instead of just redoing it.

10 years of trying to convince Peter to make another Dungeon Keeper or Populous probably failed. A man can only try so hard.

Man, A game like Dragon Quest VIII on the Wii U would be amazing. That game is still one of my all time favorites, and I'm glad they're going back to that style for X.

It is nice to see competition, but ultimately, I think this is going to hurt EA and their games more than anything else. Especially if they're going to put an MMO out there. I personally won't use their service because I feel Steam fits my needs right now.

However, that may change if they offer games with very deep discounts on the service. New games for $20 instead of $60? Sign me up day one. Otherwise I'll just stick with Steam.
