Actually, this is real. Games made for the PC and such are scalable, to accomodate different clockspeeds, so they run the same at different clockspeeds. On the DS, however, all games are set to run at the exact clockspeed of the DS: speeding it up any (or slowing it down any) will result in a different playback speed of the game.

It has USB ports. There will be an adaptor to convert one of the ports to ethernet. This port will likely be VERY cheap. Would you rather have to buy a $100 wireless adaptor for X360? I wouldn't.

They copied aesthetics, not features. Similar aesthetics are not something to be bitched about, like you are doing right now. Copying features, like Sony does, however, is underhanded and warrants quite a bit of bitching.

Have you played one? The actual experience of playing one is enough to change the minds of most who think that there's no reason to buy it. The screen is brighter than the PSP's.
