I work for Best Buy. Ol' blue does not sell ANY refurbished items in store. All the refurbs are online only*. We do ocassionally sell returns as open box items, however, consoles are not one of those items. Consoles that get returned end up being sent back to the manufacturer.

Ergo, this deal mentioned in Joystiq is for a NEW playstation with a NEW TV.

*There are outlet centers that sell them, but those damned things are like, impossible to find...

I personally have recieved more calls about that TV, from people saying they're coming in for it, than we are going to get in stock of them.

Again, I ALONE have had more people say they're gonna get in line at like, 3, to get that TV, than the stock will have in store. This is completely ignoring the other calls, or the other people coming in, or even the people who didn't communicate about it.

Don't expect to get the TV unless you get in line for it RIGHT NOW.

No there isn't. Great games, at a great price? How can you hate that? And anyway, nobody is forcing you to buy them.
Also... nobody tell this guy about the indie royale bundles that popped up.

First World Problems time:

I bought Frozen Synapse on Steam when it was a weekend madness... So, I've got a spare Steam key just sitting around.
Now, I bought the Frozen Synapse bundle... and I have TWO Steam keys just sitting around... :(

To an extent I agree... Tower Defense is its own genre, not really strategy.

However, to say "One strategy, maximize exposure" is a bit excessive of an oversimplification.
Starcraft has one strategy, maximize killing stuff.
Call of Duty has one strategy, shoot doods more and better than they shoot you.
Deus Ex has one strategy, get to the end of the level.

The strategy evolves in HOW you do those things, in which things best meet that goal.

Interesting... I owned four out of five of the Strategy bundle (Didn't own Sol Survivor) and I own one of the 2d bundle (runner)... I know for sure I'm gonna pick up the 2d though... them's some good games.

You're missing the point... Sure, Joystiq used some incorrect terms, but that's not what's important, or what the article is about.
What is, is the fact that there's a new ToS.

You know, I was behind Sony for the privacy breech thing. They were a victim, and just kinda handled it oafishly... This, however, is intentional dickishness, not just making an oops (a catastrophic oops, but an oops none the less.)
