Hitting shelves this week

Feb 27th 2006 8:37AM (Joystiq)
Real men play Super Princess Peach. I'm signing up for Gamefly soon and that'll be on my GameQ.

Bungie, PSU, & Xbox 1 games on Live/Marketplace, says Q; co-op Geometry Wars & next-gen Blizzard title coming, too

Marathon would be sweet...I'd like to play that.

I really, really, want to see PC MMORPGs on this freaking system. I'd love to play City of Villains without paying $10 a month. $50 a year I can handle, though. =P So yeah, go PSO.

Xbox 1 games? Yay, maybe my HD can finally start running out of space! (That 160 gig will cost SO much...)

She's hot and all...but Tech TV has some really dumb moments, you have to admit.

Japanese development for 360 going slowly but surely

Jan 30th 2006 3:39PM (Joystiq)
I can't wait for Lost Planet.

Though, you guys forgot Sonic the Hedgehog...(which may not be a bad thing considering how good Shadow looked, and then plop.)

Rumor: DOA coming to PS3

Jan 13th 2006 1:42PM (Joystiq)
#5 called it.

If this is true - emphasis on the "if" then the 360 loses one of its strongest exclusive franchises. At least they aren't going to be PS3-exclusive. Ooh, that'd be terrible.

POLL: What licensed character would you most like to see on the DS?

Dec 31st 2005 5:22PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
SUPER. FREAKING. MILK CHAN.

Actually, a Milk Chan game would probably not be that good. In that case, the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders will be fine.

Call of Duty 2 is great. But only one vote for We Love Katamari? Come ON.

I need to get Psychonauts.

Next-gen console size comparisons

Dec 29th 2005 6:18PM (Joystiq)
The Revolution is just cool up and down. I can't wait for it. It is probably smaller than the 360's power supply.

And I speak from experience. I'm a proud new 360 owner and I think my home has actually had the side without the 360 go up in the air a little.

Dual-screen key feature to DS popularity

Dec 23rd 2005 8:43PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Actually, the bottom screen map is a big plus. In the console game X-Men Legends, you either get a teeny tiny map to the side or a giant map obscuring your view. With the DS, you could have a map on the bottom screen, as well as a secondary hud.

I love the prices and, of course, the choice of games.

"Let's play Global Thermonuclear War"

Dude. I wanna play as Reagan.
