EA knows nothing about the console launch date. Nintendo hasn't announced anything even to publisher - and by looking at the bad established relation between Nintendo and EA, they won't be the first to know.

The best way for all developer to be ready for the launch is to complete their games by the end of september.

You can't put on the shoulders of Intel the weight of the graphical evolution. The overal PC price has fallen during the last 2 years, due in part because of the cheap video chips installed. The price could be even lower if, instead of a 180 GB drive, you put a 80 GB drive, well enough for 90% of the population.

It's the responsability of the gamer to gear him up - Intel is only giving basic video functionalities.

I don't think that Sony intentionnaly used Apple stuff to create its website. The creative work that results a website is often based on previous stuff that you can find on the web or elsewhere. I think that the guys that made the website was impressed by the smoke effect (which has been filmed) so they decided to use it and added a mask to cover the Apple logo - which was a really good idea, if the mask had really covered the logo...

Isn't it a little late to debate on the amount of button of the controller? How can a 3rd party developer can tweak its gameplay without a stable hardware?

I don't understand this pointless debate: the wiimote has 2 technologies - it's like the ps3 controller + a new technology. Everyone is happy with the possibilities of the controller compared to the one of the ps3.

Why now discussing about that? It's like saying, when Ford made it's first vehicule, "why can't you make it faster and more safe". Why? Because what you see is the maximum that our technology can do! (for that price)

Speaking about sensationalism, Slashdot is linking to an article citing an editorialist who "trolls the Mac community with inflammatory opinions to pump his [website] stats".

Ubisoft Montreal did Prince of Persia, Splinter Cell and Far Cry Instincts series.

Truly, the 360 version kicks ass...
