Sorry Capcom, this isn't the slow paced survival horror series I once knew and loved.. I get that making the series all "popcorn" makes you think it will compete with GoW and all the other action games, but you could have made another IP for that. The cheap "scene*FLASH*scene*FLASH*scene*FLASH*" trailer is also disappointing... RE2 still my personal favorite.
I think the Kinect tech is awesome, but I don't think it's "there"just yet for corporate prime time. As a gaming input for imprecise implementations, its fun and exciting, but for corporate, it's sort of like the early tablet implementations in the late 90's.
I think in 10 years or less (most likely less) we will see much more robust implementations with better lenses, smaller "usage zones", and much faster response times, which will make this tech much more feasible for the corporate crowd. Minority Report screens, or its realistic counterpart, are not that far off, and it's exciting to see the tech grow in this infancy stage.
@agentkuo Enslaved is a sight to behold, but I *personally* didn't get too much into the story, but you just HAVE to play Heavenly Sword. I cried out in pain when they said they would not continue the IP. That story was excellent.
This game is looking Great Great Great.... They really should have made it a brand new IP, but I can see how NT would be hesitant to, after the performance of Enslaved. Still, it would be nice if it didn't carry all the DMC baggage.
I just like to think of this as the video game version of some Paul Pope graphic novel I haven't read yet. lol
@Organic Jerk @Blaze463 I often enjoy watching the evolution of fanboy comments and the "type" of comments that rate up or down depending on the blog post. Not to mention how comments rate over time when a "perspective" for the "comments groupthink" has evolved. No different here :D
I was staying silent throughout the love fest in all the previews. Call me pessimistic about Sonic games, but i knew this game was going to disappoint.
I always dread seeing "legitimate issue" race, female, or even age related posts on video game blogs, because eventually I have to scroll down to the comments and be utterly disappointed by the hive of willfully blissful rhetoric spouted by "young" "white" "males".
