Report: Cyanide also working on Game of Thrones RPG

Mar 27th 2011 6:11AM (Joystiq)
@iHavePants but duke nukem is a project from the 90s. George R R Martin was definitely trolling his fans by saying the book would come out in 2006. But that's still like waiting for a few minutes compared to the massive delays Duke Nukem has gone through.

Oh and also Hodor.

So easily my most anticipated game of next year. Even surpassing stuff like Witcher 2 and Uncharted.

Seriously, finally we get a detective game with production values like this...where you're actually a detective.

No going around shooting everybody in sight. Just good old gumshoe stuff.

Crystal Dynamics on recreating Lara Croft

@endgamer77 As long as morons like you post on joystiq the more I'll stay away from this place. Uncharted and Tomb Raider are nothing alike....at all.

The only similarity is that they are both adventurers. But the gameplay is totally different. Uncharted is just a shooter, that's it. A very good third person shooter series. Meanwhile Tomb Raider has always been about platforming and solving puzzles...:/

@Hookshot Mallard They're not really shying away from it that badly. Can you honestly say the new Lara Croft has no appeal?

@mmmfishtacos Have you played the last few Tomb Raider games? It feels like everybody's just spouting bullshit about this series.

This is nothing like Sonic.

Anniversary was a good game as was Legend. Underworld wasn't bad either (and looked pretty good too). And that PSN/XBLA game was really really fun. Some good coop puzzles.

Tomb Raider revealed by Square Enix in Game Informer

@skullivan Internet standards are hilarious. If I got a chance with this girl I'd take it instantly.

But nah, not you guys. Too boyish I guess.

@PR0F3TA Nathan Drake didn't steal anything. Lara Croft was clearly a female answer to Indiana Jones.

Nathan Drake is just another wannabe though. I like Uncharted games but they are nothing like Tomb Raider. They are pretty much just really good third person shooters.

While Tomb Raider has always been about puzzles and platforming with clunky combat, if they fix the combat they're set. And Guardian of Light was awesome.

Def Jam Rapstar competition offers record deal to UK flow masters

Just to throw it up here. Saying british accents on black people is weird is pretty much as racist as saying asians can only sound like jackie chan and east indians can only sound like apu from the simpsons.

If you're raised somewhere you're gonna have that region's accent. Not all black people sound like Stringer from the Wire (fun fact...the actor is British ohmahgawd)
