Alpha Protocol felt like a very cool spiritual (in gameplay and stats only) successor to Deus Ex 1, bugs and all haha.

I'm so glad that we're actually getting a sequel that looks like it will be fairly faithful to the original.

I'm just wincing at all the console kids who will be crying about the 'complicated inventory screen'. God damn, I hope this is a success. Soundtrack sounds bananas too. Probably will get augmented edition.

But yeah Mass Effect 2 is fun. But you're joking if you think it had a good story, there was barely anything there. I'm not a big Halo fanboy but Reach definitely takes it on that aspect.

Anyways it is pretty lame how Bear McCreary's score for Dark Void wasn't given any recognition. Goes to show how weird the games industry is. Just because the game sucked, doesn't mean the score deserves to be ignored. He's the best composer on TV right now, and he brought his stuff to such a mediocre game.

I just want Skies of Arcadia and the Shenmue games. Is that too much to ask?

pfft. It's a good game. And Joystiq recognizes that it is. People Can Fly are one of the best FPS developers out there, I think this will be great fun. Definitely picking this up over Killzone 3, easy.

Okay sure change the combat, piss the fans of the original off. But did they really have to add the dumb 'streamlined' dialogue system from Mass Effect as well?

I swear Bioware puts no faith in the intelligence of it's audience, they think gamers can't read. But then again Mass Effect 2 was so loved and Dragon Age was hated because 10 words+ per dialogue option was a bit too much to swallow.

@Nofriendo Yeah. Honestly after beating the game it's definitely now my favorite third person shooter of all time. Surpassing even RE4 and Uncharted series for me.

Oh man. This game is literally a symphony orchestra of guns and explosions. I've pulled off so many sick combos in the air switching from rifle to shotty whilst shooting that grenade I threw a second or two ago to explode that group of robots in the back while I take care of the ones in front of me.....all before I hit the ground to boost away.
