duuuuuuuude that game is the first thing i thought about when i saw this review. the ps2 game was Colosseum: Road to Freedom by koei. i've only seen the screenshots posted here on joystiq, but the graphics in this game look identical to those in colosseum. i'm glad i saw this review, i had almost forgotten how much damn fun colosseum was. i rented it once, but for some dumb reason i couldn't find a new copy of it around here anywhere. there has to be a copy of it on ebay i can grab or something. apparently the reviews weren't too hot for it, but whatever. if any of you stumble across this little gem, definitely check it out!
