I think you are very close though - watch out for AMDTI (I'm calling them that, shut up) to release a $400 DISCover based machine.


(For those who don't know - DISCover technology, currently used in a few machines nobody ever hears of, is a technology that turns PC gaming into a similar to console gaming - just pop in the disc. The first time it'll do the install wizard - and all other times, it will track down what game it is and run it the second you put the disc in.)

Well, it KIND of is a better time - but one con remains - we have a year to go now!

Not supprising in the least. I've built a massive gaming collection off of Thrift Stores, my backup computer (1.13 GHz Pentium 3, 20 GB HD, DVD-ROM, 256 MB RAM) cost me $10 Canadian at a thrift store, and for $100 (not as great of a deal, but whatever), one of my good friends got a G4 iMac. I shall steal it one day! ;)

This will totally be better on the Wii...we'll be able to SHAPE the onion rings!
