Apr 27th 2010 3:22AM (Joystiq)
"Hydrophobia" was intended to be a PS3 title back in September 2008:

PS. "Who's afraid of water"?

I asked for clarification of the name of the game in comment #3 & received a reply from Rob Hewson in comment #4 here:

Amazon (UK) presently have the White PSP Go for GBP179.99 (down from the original Recommended Retail Price of GBP229.99, then GBP199.99). Further reduction rumoured when the machines are re-launched later this year.

You can set-up a US PlayStation Network account on the device & don't have to touch the European Store at all.

Well, I doughnut know what you wear to work, but shoulder pads with spikes fits in really well 'round our office.

They certainly help to leeps you awake if you are falling asleep after a heavy lunchtime session.

Xbox 360 storage locker can store anything, really

Jan 15th 2010 5:36AM (Joystiq)
What a great product!

It conveniently saves times finding the individual items & provides a very handy portable case for all your valued console-based possessions for a thief to use to their advantage.

I must order approximately none of these.

Thanks.

Gran Turismo 5 'Time Trial' demo races into one million European households

Jan 12th 2010 3:44PM (Joystiq Playstation)
I'm with your xPAULIEx; if I want a near-realistic racing experience I'll just go outside & drive off at speed in my own car. I too prefer titles from Codemasters, Rockstar, Criterion and (even) EA before I'll play anything from Polyphony Digital.

I wonder if the reported statistics take account of all those who deleted the downloaded demo after playing it (once).

Third parties not required to release PSP games on PlayStation Store

Oct 16th 2009 9:55AM (Joystiq)
Another mandatory requirement (well, OK, a "suggestion"): Offer Playable Demo versions (or at the very least, videos showing actual game-play footage) on the day that a full game is released to the PlayStation Store for download.

There are so many games I wouldn't mind trying, but due to the prices I am put off with downloading a relatively unknown title.
