Zune 4.0 software won't play nice with HDTV Media Center recordings

Aug 15th 2009 4:04PM (Engadget)
Not even an issue - HDTV MCE recordings are 8GB per hour. Let alone taking 1/2 to 1/4 of your Zune HD storage, it'll take a while to copy over USB.

I like the VS series, but this one was pretty gimp. 3 attack buttons + 1 partner button is pretty lame.

Automation isn't violation of TOS either. UNATTENDED automation is. Programming and using timed macros on a Logitech G10 isn't illegal (Trust me I've asked and its okay). Not playing the game and hitting buttons is grounds for a ban. Even if you're using /castsequence.

BTW, multiboxing is replicating inputs - not automation, its just like tying 5 levers together, it's still 1 step.

Breaking News: No new app submissions unless they run on OS 3.0

May 7th 2009 6:46PM (TUAW.com)
I've run into many 2.x applications that don't work 100% in the 3.0 betas.

I think it's unreasonable for Apple to make these demands without announcing a release date for 3.0 and/or how many more betas will be released- and what SDK changes will be made before release. No reason to modify your app to comply with 3.0b5 when the next beta could break it.

FLATMII streams games to your Wii, via USB

Cool idea. "Streaming" is over LAN, not USB.... add an ethernet jack and I'm sold.
