Deus Ex: Human Revolution soundtrack to install in your aural orifices Nov. 15

Oct 28th 2011 3:41PM (Joystiq)
I already own it (bought the limited edition) but I'm still buying this :) One gripe: why isn't the original DX theme in either this or the Limited Edition soundtrack? It's IN the game, right after the credits.

XBLA in Brief: Daytona USA, Zombie Apocalypse: Never Die Alone

Oct 27th 2011 2:18AM (Joystiq)
No go play this new one. The first ZA was just a survival against waves of zombies, this new one is sh*tastic, tries to have actual levels (like Dead Nation, but are laughably short), and some of the most worst characters and voice actors I've seen in a long time. I was really disappointed.. I just want Dead Nation on XBLA.. -sigh-

Saints Row 3: The Third 'Initiation Station' lets you build-a-Itagaki

Will this be free on Xbox Live? I just preordered SR3 a while ago. If they charge for this I'm gonna be a sad panda.

@Liquidfingers Is Case3 going to be a FPS? Just the other day I searched for any info on what view point it would be but found nothing..

Blacklight: Tango Down to half-price on XBLM this week

Yikes, nooooo thank you. What's next to discount? Breach? Or how about Cellfactor? Bleck. We really just need a good XBLA FPS.. hopefully Section 8: Prejudice will be good. *crosses fingers*

Splatterhouse review: All guts, no glory

@The Aquacharger
Oh I know, I totally agree, I wish more of the main Joystiq staff would go back to writing more of the reviews, rather than these random people who have written one or two reviews for the site total.

Splatterhouse review: All guts, no glory

Nov 29th 2010 5:37PM (Joystiq)
I bought it and enjoyed the hell outta it. You guys are one of the very few who gave this a bad review, I still don't agree with anything you or the others said.. You also forgot to mention a nice big bonus to this game: The WHOLE damn Splatterhouse original series is unlockable, and not the crappy Turbo port version. It's all gory and everything like the original Arcade was. That's 4 games for the price of one. Even without those other 3 games, I still think this was well worth the full price. I dunno Joystiq, but lately I haven't been agreeing with your reviews..

Blood Drive review: Where's my cookie?

Nov 5th 2010 1:04PM (Joystiq)
I actually rented this and Dead Rising 2 last night, and I'm having a blast. I thought the graphics were pretty good, though the controls are a tad touchy. Unfortunately nobody plays online, but other than that, I'm loving it. It reminds me a lot of Roadkill on the original Xbox. The maps are pretty huge too, and each level is unique in its own ways. I dunno, If you see this for 20 bucks, I recommend it. I'm gonna pick it up when I see it for $25 or lower.

New and coming soon to XBLM: $5 RISK, BioShock 2 and Borderlands DLC deals, more

Oct 20th 2010 12:13AM (Joystiq)
Lmao, Blade Kitten sold so terribly it's ALREADY going to be Deal of the Week? It JUST came out a few weeks ago! Pahaha. Really though, not too surprising. That game was pretty bad. And damn.. was hoping that newest Borderlands DLC would be on there too... that's the last one I need.
