@arrrgh Yeah... Joystiq in general seems very biased against Rocksmith, whereas the rest of the gaming world gave it pretty good reviews.

I have Rocksmith, and while it's not the end-all-be-all of teaching guides, I think it's great for the price I paid ($50). Even at $80, it's a good deal considering how much private lessons cost. Between this and free internet tutorials you can go a long way.

@Freakservo To be fair, you are incorrect. My original statement was not concerned with the source of the translation. I knew it was unofficial. I simply mentioned that a quality translation (by the now defunct DeJap) had been released over a decade ago. For me, a good translation is a good translation, regardless of origin.

A quality translation has been out for this game for 10 years. I remember playing in early high school.

Louis Armstrong has some of the best guitar solo's ever.

@Poor Tom I have my copies somewhere, but they're the Sunsoft re-releases, not the first edition release. I played the hell out of those games so much when I was a kid. I'd love to see them hit America, especially Legend 2. It had so many cool ideas for a gameboy game.
