Aug 24th 2010 10:16AM (Joystiq)I don't see how you can consider one of the most mainstream game developer niche. All of Blizzard's main franchises had hit platinum within the first few days or weeks of sale. D2 had sold 4 millions copies whilst being far more expensive than torchlight.
