They are charging quite enough for the game itself. I think that a step too far.
Also, they're to be released only in Spring?! What a way to halve the players too soon after release of the game!

Sony attacks BBC Watchdog's PS3 hardware failure report

Sep 18th 2009 1:32PM (Joystiq)
If it's the user's fault, would *you* know how to prevent it? Would you not turn tail and change your argument?
Electronics are supposed to be designed to be idiot proof, short of dropping it in the toilet. That argument does not stand.

Sony attacks BBC Watchdog's PS3 hardware failure report

Sep 18th 2009 1:28PM (Joystiq)
These comments are such biased bullshit. For those of you outside the UK, Watchdog is a highly reputable TV programme that PROTECTS the customer's rights. If your PS3 broke tomorrow and Watchdog had managed to change SONY's policy, you'd have them to thank. What many comments here are showing is sheer, unchecked disrespect. As a Brit I am REALLY offended that so many people think Watchdog has stepped on their toes in doing their job, and a BLOODY GOOD ONE TOO!

Fair enough, they admitted their fix wasn't permanent - "Although four of them have since broken again," and yes, as a PS3 owner I hope they really do go to town on the 360 - they don't just look after PS3 owners, after all.
